In this video Lolicup Inc. show us how to make Boba. The ingredients include : 10 Cups of water, half cup of honey, half cup of dark brown sugar and 2 cups of Boba. Utensils required are a drainer, a large pot, a bowl for the sugar water and a timer, which is very important. The listed ingredients will be able to serve 10 people. Boba has a variety of names such as Tapioca Balls, Black Pearls and many others. The first step is to add the water to the pot and wait until it boils. The second step is to use the extra bowl and add the half cup of brown sugar, half cup of honey and then add 16 ounces of hot water, which needs to be hot so that the honey and sugar can dissolve. Stir the ingredients until everything is dissolved fully. The third step, once the water is boiling, is to turn down the heat to a mild flame and add in the 2 cups of Boba. The Boba will tend to sink to the bottom and stick to the pot because of the boiling water, so it is vital to stir the Boba for the first 5 seconds after putting it in. Once you have added the Boba, set the timer to 15 minutes, and then after 15 minutes turn the flame off and let the Boba sit for 20 minutes, once again setting the timer. Once the 20 minutes is up, you must turn off the heat and you will notice the water is very dark brown. Next you will need to drain the pot using the drainer, and will notice how the Boba has changed color and texture. The next step is to get room temperature water, so that the Boba doesn't cook any more and retains the texture, and poor it over the Boba using the drainer. The final step is to get the sugar water and add the Boba to it, then stir it and set the timer for 10 minutes. You will then be ready to add one scoop of Boba to a glass and add whichever beverage you would like.
